The game was mostly controlled by Juventus. Lietkabelis was better in fourth quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Lietkabelis 44-23 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Saulius Kulvietis (206-91) notched 21 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and international power forward Egidijus Dimsa (204-85) supported him with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Juventus' coach Dainius Adomaitis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 21 points and 6 rebounds by Croatian center Jurica Zuza (208-78) did not help to save the game for Lietkabelis. Naturalized Canadian point guard Evaldas Zabas (188-88) added 17 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Juventus maintains fourth position with 22-14 record. Lietkabelis lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 26 games lost. Juventus will play against league's leader Lietuvos rytas in Vilnius in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
