UMMC cruised past Sparta&K on the road to sweep the semifinal series. UMMC Ekaterinburg dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Vidnoye's 32. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when UMMC Ekaterinburg made 7 blocks. French center Sandrine Gruda (193-87, agency: Comsport) scored 19 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Olga Arteshina (188-82) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Belgian center Emma Meesseman (192-93, agency: LBM Management) responded with 6 points and 9 rebounds and international center Maria Vadeeva (190-98) scored 4 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
