Regular Season Round 36: Oberwart - Arkadia 87-78

Date: April 22, 2015
Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Redwell Gunners Oberwart and 8th ranked Arkadia Lions had identical 17-18 record. This time Redwell Gunners Oberwart used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Traiskirchen 87-78. The hosts were already 13 points ahead at halftime and as many as 14 after three quarters before a 18-13 last quarter charge of Arkadia Lions cut the lead to 87-78 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Gabe Knutson (206-91, college: Lehigh) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and the other American import forward Rakeem Buckles (201-90, college: FIU) who added 11 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Florian Trmal (199-89, agency: Dynamics Global Management) with 24 points and 5 rebounds and guard Benedikt Guettl (190-94) scored 15 points. Four Arkadia Lions players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Redwell Gunners Oberwart have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 18-18 record. Arkadia Lions at the other side keep the eighth place with 19 games lost.
