Regular Season Round 36: Zepter Vienna - Wels 107-64

A Bundesliga top team - Zepter Vienna (26-10) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Raiffeisen Wels (19-17) in Wien 107-64. The game without a history. Zepter Vienna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.3 percent from the field and made 22-of-24 charity shots (91.7 percent) during the game, while Raiffeisen Wels only scored six points from the stripe. They outrebounded Raiffeisen Wels 36-18 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Zepter Vienna especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of Croatian forward Jasmin Perkovic (205-80) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Amin Stevens (201-90, college: Florida A&M) who added 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Zepter Vienna players scored in double figures. Zepter Vienna's coach Andrea Maghelli felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Czech center Ales Chan (215-80, college: Seton Hill) with 15 points and the former international Davor Lamesic (205-83, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Zepter Vienna maintains first position with 26-10 record. Raiffeisen Wels at the other side keep the sixth place with 17 games lost.
