The game with biggest result difference took place in Kedainiai. Local Nevezis (7-31) was outscored by sixth ranked Dzukija (21-18) 93-69 on Thursday night. The game was mostly controlled by Dzukija. Nevezis managed to win third quarter 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Paulius Dambrauskas (192-85) scored 20 points and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Martynas Paliukenas (195-93) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Dzukija players scored in double figures. Dzukija's coach Andrej Urlep felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Vaidotas Volkus (203-85, college: Redlands CC) with 22 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Thomas Davis (198-91, college: SW Oklahoma St.) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Dzukija maintains sixth position with 21-18 record. Nevezis lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 31 games lost. Dzukija will meet at home higher ranked P.Zvaigzdes (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Nevezis will play against Mazeikiai (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
