Not a big story in a game in Istanbul where 11th ranked Torku Konyaspor (12-16) was defeated by sixth ranked Besiktas (15-13) 84-74 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 12 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 10 points. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian center Kenan Bajramovic (205-81) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and American center Hilton Armstrong (210-84, college: Connecticut) who added 18 points during the contest. Four Besiktas players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Troy DeVries (193-82, college: N.Mexico) responded with 16 points and his fellow American import forward Hakim Warrick (204-82, college: Syracuse) scored 13 points. Besiktas moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Banvit BK. Torku Konyaspor lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Besiktas will face league's second-placed Anadolu Efes in Istanbul in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Torku Konyaspor will play at home against Turk Telekom (#8) and hope to win that game.
