Quarter-Finals Round 3: Kaposvari - Sopron KC 96-82

Kaposvari defeated Sopron KC to take 2-1 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Kaposvari. Sopron KC was better in third quarter 27-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kaposvari players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American Nikolas Raivio (193-86, college: Portland) who scored 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). His fellow American import point guard Branden Frazier (190-92, college: Fordham) chipped in 20 points and 8 assists. Five Kaposvari players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (198-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) who recorded 23 points and 5 rebounds and international guard Andras Rujak (189-88) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
