Atomeromu held off KTE-Duna Aszfalt to gain the opening victory in the semifinal series. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Atomeromu had a 37-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by KTE-Duna Aszfalt helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Naturalized American power forward Jarrod Jones (205-90, college: Ball St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Zsolt Szabo (202-86, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. point guard Mate Pongo (185-93, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) replied with 10 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian center Kemal Karahodzic (210-89) added 7 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for KTE-Duna Aszfalt. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
