Very expected game when 18th ranked Mersin (7-27) was rolled over on the road by seventh ranked Adanaspor (20-14) 93-64. It looked good early as Mersin took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Adanaspor had a 21-6 second period charge getting the lead and Mersin was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 64-93. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Mersin to just 6 points in second quarter. Adanaspor dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Mersin's 36. They outrebounded Mersin 39-22 including 29 on the defensive glass. Adanaspor players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American guard Jeremy Ingram (190-92, college: N.C.Central) notched 19 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Mike Davis (205-88, college: Illinois) supported him with 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Four Adanaspor players scored in double figures. Adanaspor's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
