Szolnok toppled Sopron KC on the road to open 2-0 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Szolnok. Sopron KC was better in fourth quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. International swingman David Vojvoda (196-90, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) scored 29 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Marton Bader (212-80, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (198-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and international point guard Dontay Thomas (187-84, college: La Salle) scored 11 points and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
