Regular Season Round 2: Silute - Telsiai 68-62

Silute used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Telsiu 68-62. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-14. But Telsiai won second period 16-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Silute won last quarter 17-13. The best player for the winners was Deividas Kumelis (188-95) who scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. Ignas Vaitkus (196-93) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Forward Audrius Maneikis (203-84, college: Motlow St. CC) produced 18 points and power forward Mindaugas Norkus (200-85) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Silute's next round opponent will be Petrochema in Jonava and it will be for sure the game of the week. Telsiai will play at home against Rasai and hope to win that game.
