Regular Season Round 3: Vytis - Nafta-Uni. 75-77

A very interesting game took place in Sakiai. It ended with only two-point home defeat of Vytis (0-3) to Nafta-Uni. (1-2) 77-75 on Friday evening. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Vytis helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for guard Erikas Kubilius (191-95) who led his team to a victory with 18 points. Forward Rytis Biliartas (200-91) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Dovydas Redikas (192-92) answered with 27 points and 7 rebounds and forward Karolis Brusokas (200-91) added 17 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) in the effort for Vytis. Vytis' coach Nerijus Zabarauskas tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Nafta-Uni.'s next round opponent will be Lietkabelis-2 (#9) in Panevezys. Vytis will play on the road against Ezerunas-Karys in Moletai and hopes to get finally their first victory.
