Final Genclik was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Istanbul 73-60 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 13 points. It was a very good performance for the former international guard Kerem Tunceri (191-79) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 assists. The former international forward Ersin Goerkem (198-77) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks (made all of his seven free throws) and forward Utku Bayraktar (-94) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Final Genclik. Final Genclik's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Acibadem Uni. will face Adanaspor at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Final Genclik will play against Eskisehir Basket in Edirne and hope to win that game.
