Regular Season Round 3: Recklinghausen - Rist Wedel 81-85

No shocking result in a game when SC Rist Wedel (2-1) beat on the road Recklinghausen (0-3) 85-81 on Saturday. Recklinghausen was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American center Michael Bradley (208-92, college: Samford) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Swingman Louis Olinde (205-98) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Aaron Donkor (185-95) answered with 19 points and guard Marvin Boadu (193-89, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Recklinghausen. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Recklinghausen's coach Florian Gut rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SC Rist Wedel will face Rostock (#6) at home in the next round. Recklinghausen will play against Artland Dragons (#1) in Quakenbrueck and hopes to get finally their first victory.
