Date: October 10, 2015
Undefeated leader Lietuvos rytas delivered the fourth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Juventus (2-2) 100-77 in Vilnius. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Juventus. The game was mostly controlled by Lietuvos rytas. Juventus was better in fourth quarter 29-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Lietuvos rytas forced 23 Juventus turnovers. The former international center Antanas Kavaliauskas (208-84, college: Texas A&M, agency: Interperformances) nailed 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Argentinian point guard Nicolas Laprovittola (193-90) accounted for 17 points. Five Lietuvos rytas players scored in double figures. Forward Paulius Petrilevicius (200-91) came up with 11 points and 6 rebounds and forward Edgaras Zelionis (201-89) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Juventus in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lietuvos rytas have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 4-0 record, which they share with Zalgiris. Juventus at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. Lietuvos rytas' next round opponent will be Nevezis in Kedainiai and are hoping to win another game. Juventus will play at home against the league's second-placed Zalgiris and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
