No shocking result in a game when top-ranked TuSLi Berlin (2-0) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Wusterhausen (0-4) 73-58 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by TuSLi Berlin. Wusterhausen was better in second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Wusterhausen 47-28 including 17 on the offensive glass. Center Nyara Sabally (185-0) fired 8 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Forward Patricia Brossmann (181-97) chipped in 19 points. Power forward Vanessa Hoehne (186) produced 12 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Kelsey Harris (178, college: Cal-Davis) added 15 points respectively for lost side. TuSLi Berlin moved-up to third place in North. Newly promoted Wusterhausen still closes the standings with four games lost. TuSLi Berlin will face Baskets Grunberg (#9) in Gruenberg in the next round where they are favorite. Wusterhausen will play at home against B.Loewen and hopes to get finally their first victory.
