Regular Season Round 5: Baunach - Gotha 66-60

Oettinger Rockets Gotha (4-1) recorded its first loss on the court of twelfth ranked Baunach on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Baunach 66-60. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Oettinger Rockets Gotha. The hosts trailed by 13 points at the halftime before their 40-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Johannes Thiemann (203-94) who scored 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Lithuanian power forward Arnoldas Kulboka (207-98) chipped in 14 points. American power forward Delvon Johnson (206-89, college: Arkansas, agency: Priority Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!) and the other American import guard Carlton Guyton (193-90, college: Kent St.) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Oettinger Rockets Gotha's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Baunach (2-2) moved-up to ninth place. Oettinger Rockets Gotha at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
