Regular Season Round 3: Adanaspor - Eskisehir Basket 91-75

There was a minor upset when Eskisehir Basket (1-2) was defeated on the road by Adanaspor (1-2) 91-75 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Adanaspor. Eskisehir Basket was better in fourth quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Adanaspor shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. The best player for the winners was American guard Terrell Stoglin (185-91, college: Maryland) who scored 32 points. Swingman Melih Kabakci (200-82) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. Four Adanaspor players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import point guard Leemire Goldwire (184-85, college: Charlotte, agency: HMS) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Adanaspor will face Mamak DSI (#18) in Ankara in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
