Regular Season Round 7: Silute - Delikatesas 79-81

A very close game took place in Silute between Delikatesas and Silute. Tenth ranked Delikatesas (3-4) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked Silute (3-4). Delikatesas managed to escape with a 2-point win 81-79 in the fight for the eighth place. It was a great evening for forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) helped adding 17 points and 10 rebounds. Four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. At the losing side Ignas Vaitkus (196-93) responded with 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and center Aurelijus Pukelis (206-94) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Delikatesas moved-up to eighth place, which they share with defeated Silute. Silute lost their fourth game in a row. Delikatesas will meet at home higher ranked Zalgiris II (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Silute will play against Suduva-Mantinga in Marijampole and hope to secure a win.
