The game between fifth ranked Stevnsgade (2-1) and 6th ranked Amager (1-3) in Stevnsgade on Friday ended with biggest points difference. Stevnsgade outscored guests from Kastrup 72-38. The game without a history. Stevnsgade led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Amager to just 5 points in fourth quarter. Stevnsgade forced 21 Amager turnovers and outrebounded them 39-20 including 28 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by international guard Hanna Sheikh (180-92) who scored that evening 15 points and 7 rebounds and international guard Maja Gerlyng-Hansen (180-88, college: Siena) supported her with 12 points. Four Stevnsgade players scored in double figures. Even 10 points by forward Maria Brask (176-89) did not help to save the game for Amager. point guard Emilie Fogelstrom (166-92) added 6 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Amager's coach Jesper Krone Rasmussen gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Stevnsgade moved-up to second place, which they share with Horsholm and Virum. Amager lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with three games lost. Stevnsgade will meet league's leader SISU in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
