Regular Season Round 3: SC Kryvbas - Zaporizhya 85-60

The game between SC Kryvbas (3-1) and Zaporizhya (1-2) in Kryvyi Rih ended with biggest points difference. SC Kryvbas outscored guests from Zaporozhye 85-60. The game was mostly controlled by SC Kryvbas. Zaporizhya was better in second period 21-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Zaporizhya to just 7 points in third quarter. SC Kryvbas forced 24 Zaporizhya turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of international swingman Dmytro Gliebov (198-88, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Dmitriy Lypovtsev helped adding 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four SC Kryvbas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Russian forward Stanislav Dikiy (201-88, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and guard Alexander Rybalko (190-79) scored 7 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SC Kryvbas will play against Mykolaiv (#6) in Mykolaiv in the next round. Zaporizhya will play on the road against Mykolaiv in Mykolaiv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
