The game in Kaunas supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Utena (2-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Aistes-LSU (1-3). Utena smashed Aistes-LSU 88-37. The game without a history. Utena led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aistes-LSU to just 4 points in third quarter. Utena held Aistes-LSU to an opponent 19.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.8 percent accuracy of the winners and made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Utena forced 22 Aistes-LSU turnovers and outrebounded them 55-28 including a 25-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Aistes-LSU's players. Utena brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Aistes-LSU at the other side keeps the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with Fortuna. Utena will play against league's leader Kibirkstis-VICI in Vilnius in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aistes-LSU will play on the road against the league's second-placed Suduva (#2) in Marijampole to get more than just one victory in their record.
