Regular Season Round 2: Elazig - TED Ankara 63-92

Very expected game when Elazig (0-2) was smashed at home by TED Ankara (2-0) 92-63 on Saturday. The game without a history. TED Ankara led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Elazig's 34. They outrebounded Elazig 22-9. It was a great shooting night for TED Ankara especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. Gizem Kazali (-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field). Forward Melda Baltaci (180-92) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Ozge Karatas (-96) replied with 36 points (!!!) and Nazli Gungor (-95) added 7 points in the effort for Elazig. TED Ankara will face Osmaniye in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
