Regular Season Round 3: NSA Delta - Septemvri 66-69

Another exciting game took place in Sofia where Septemvri (1-2) edged by three points NSA Delta (0-3) 69-66. NSA Delta was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. Septemvri forced 21 NSA Delta turnovers and outrebounded them 53-40 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for guard Ana-Maria Kolyandrova (165-97) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Center Anelia Dimova (188-98) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Septemvri's coach Borislava Mandur allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Swingman Maria Svetoslavova (179-93) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and guard Petya Serafimova (178-95) added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for NSA Delta. Septemvri will play against Neftochimic (#4) in Burgas in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. NSA Delta will play on the road against Haskovo 2012 (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
