Regular Season Round 4: Haskovo 2012 - NSA Delta 123-40

NBL top team - Haskovo 2012 (4-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked NSA Delta (0-4) 123-40. The game without a history. Haskovo 2012 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to NSA Delta's 20. Haskovo 2012 forced 26 NSA Delta turnovers and outrebounded them 51-20 including a 19-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Haskovo 2012 players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by NSA Delta's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international guard Neli Pasheva (175-81) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) and Mali forward Meiya Tirera (186-86) who added 26 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists (perfect from the field making all twelve shots !!!) during the contest. Four Haskovo 2012 players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Maria Svetoslavova (179-93) responded with 17 points and swingman Martina Nikolova (179-94) scored 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Haskovo 2012 have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Newly promoted NSA Delta still closes the standings with four games lost. Haskovo 2012 will play against Neftochimic (#3) in Burgas in the next round, which may be the game of the day. NSA Delta's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Sofia Levski.
