Another exciting game was played in Burgas between sixth ranked Beroe and 8th ranked Chernomorets where Beroe (2-2) beat Chernomorets (1-3) on the road 70-61. The game without a history. Beroe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Beroe outrebounded Chernomorets 48-29 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Auston Barnes (203-91, college: Bradley) who helped to win the game recording 9 points and 17 rebounds. Nikolay St.Nikolov (196-94) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Beroe's coach Lubomir Minchev allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Konstantin Koev (196-91) replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian center Marko Janjusevic (213-85) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Chernomorets. Beroe moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Rilski. Chernomorets at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Levski 2014 and Akademik PL. Beroe will play against higher ranked Cherno More (#4) in Varna in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Chernomorets will play on the road against Balkan in Botevgrad to get more than just one victory in their record.
