Regular Season Round 4: Leotar - Student M. 83-61

Everything could happen in Trebinje at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Leotar and 9th ranked Student M. had identical 1-2 record. This time Leotar used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Mostar 83-61 on Saturday night. Leotar outrebounded Student M. 41-30 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Student M. was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for Serbian forward Miroslav Radenkovic (204-83) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Dejan Sakotic (194-93) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Leotar players scored in double figures. Forward Ramo Rizvic (200-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) replied with 20 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Dejan Markovic (185-92) added 11 points in the effort for Student M.Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Leotar (2-2) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Student M. keeps the ninth position with three games lost.
