Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked Mladost ZE (2-5) rolled over 13th ranked Spartak (2-5) in Zemun 87-51 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Mladost ZE led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Spartak to an opponent 22.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 48.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Mladost ZE forced 23 Spartak turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Spartak's players. Quite impressive performance for guard Slobodan Dundjerski (188-88, agency: BeoExcell) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Guard Ognjen Kuzeta (193-87) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Dejan Laketa (204-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds and power forward Aleksandar Drakulic (198-85) added 8 points in the effort for Spartak. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Mladost ZE maintains eleventh place with 2-5 record, which they share with Spartak and Tamis. Spartak lost their fifth game in a row. Mladost ZE will face higher ranked Vrsac (#7) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
