Regular Season Round 9: Ezerunas-Karys - Rasai 65-60

Everything could happen in Moletai at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Ezerunas-Karys and 13th ranked Rasai had identical 2-6 record. This time Ezerunas-Karys used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Raseiniai 65-60 on Friday night. The hosts trailed by 11 points at the halftime before their 28-11 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Forward Raimundas Ambrulaitis (200-82) stepped up and scored 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and center Edgaras Sosnovskis (206-91) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds. Ezerunas-Karys will face higher ranked Petrochema (#6) in Jonava in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rasai will play at home against the league's second-placed Suduva-Mantinga (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
