Regular Season Round 5: Infiz Basket - SC Kryvbas 60-81

The game in Kyiv supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked SC Kryvbas (5-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Infiz Basket (1-3). SC Kryvbas smashed Infiz Basket 81-60 on Friday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-60. The best player for the winners was international swingman Dmytro Gliebov (198-88, agency: Beo Basket) who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Igor Boyarkin (185-95) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. SC Kryvbas' coach Valeriy Plehanov felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Forward Anton Dziuba (204-95, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) produced 26 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Andriy Lebedintsev (184-91) added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Newly promoted SC Kryvbas maintains second place with 5-2 record behind leader Khimik. Infiz Basket lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. SC Kryvbas will have a break next round. Infiz Basket will play on the road against the league's leader Khimik (#1) in Yuzhny and hope to win that game.
