Very expected game in Bursa where 10th ranked Gelisim (2-4) was defeated by top-ranked Tofas (6-0) 89-73 on Saturday. Tofas forced 19 Gelisim turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Gelisim's players. Gelisim was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Yigit Arslan (191-96, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. The former international power forward Kaya Peker (207-80, agency: Court Side) chipped in 23 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Four Tofas players scored in double figures. Gelisim will play at home against Final Genclik and hope to win that game.
