Regular Season Round 2: Dnipro - BK Kremen 91-61

The biggest surprise of round 2 in Superleague took place in Dnepropetrovsk where host Dnipro (2-0) crushed BK Kremen (1-1) 91-61 on Saturday evening. Dnipro dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to BK Kremen's 14. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by BK Kremen's players. The best player for the winners was international forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (202-89, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. The former international guard Mykola Vilkhovetskyi (191-88, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 9 points and 9 assists. Four Dnipro players scored in double figures. point guard Ernesto Tkachuk (189-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) produced 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Roman Novikov (192-79) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BK Kremen will play next round against strong Kharkiv trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Dnipro will try to continue on its current victory against Hoverla in Frankivsk.
