Very expected game in Raseiniai where 13th ranked Rasai (2-8) was rolled over by second ranked Suduva-Mantinga (9-1) 115-66. The game without a history. Suduva-Mantinga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Rasai's 38. Suduva-Mantinga forced 23 Rasai turnovers and outrebounded them 37-26 including 23 on the defensive glass. Forward Donatas Sabeckis (197-92) notched 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Rokas Stankevicius (201-95) supported him with 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Suduva-Mantinga players scored in double figures. Even 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists by American guard Gabriel Moton (191-91, college: Brandeis) did not help to save the game for Rasai. Forward Valdemaras Savostjanovas (200-84) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Suduva-Mantinga have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Rasai lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with eight games lost. Suduva-Mantinga's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Mazeikiai on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rasai will play against Vytis (#6) in Sakiai and hope to win that game.
