Regular Season Round 3: Halychyna - Budivelnyk 98-95

Important game to mention about took place in Lviv. Halychyna (2-0) saved a 3-point victory at home edging Budivelnyk (1-2) 98-95 on Friday evening. Halychyna made 29-of-35 charity shots (82.9 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Budivelnyk was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for point guard Illya Shemosiuk (188-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 5 rebounds. The former international center Volodymyr Gurtovyy (207-75) helped adding 20 points and 13 rebounds. Four Halychyna players scored in double figures. Halychyna's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was international swingman Pavlo Krutous (195-92, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Artem Butskyy (186-81, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) scored 25 points and 7 assists. Halychyna will play against Dnipro in Dnepropetrovsk in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Budivelnyk will play on the road against Hoverla (#7) in Frankivsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
