Everything went according to plan when third ranked TuSLi Berlin (5-1) outplayed 9th ranked Barmer TV (2-5) in Wuppertal 57-34 on Saturday. The game without a history. TuSLi Berlin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Barmer TV to just 3 points in second quarter and to 12 points in first half. TuSLi Berlin held Barmer TV to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.0 percent accuracy of the winners. TuSLi Berlin forced 22 Barmer TV turnovers. Lena Gohlisch (173-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Patricia Brossmann (181-97) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Wiebke Bruns (178-90, college: Houston Baptist) replied with 8 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Franziska Goessmann (170-89) added 7 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Barmer TV. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
