There was no surprise when 9th ranked Alanya Bld (1-4) was outleveled on the road by leader Mersin Basketbal (5-0) 84-54 on Saturday. Mersin Basketbal dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Alanya Bld's 30. Mersin Basketbal forced 19 Alanya Bld turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Alanya Bld's players. Nigerian-American center Aisha Mohammed (191-85, college: Virginia) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 19 rebounds.
