9th ranked Konjice (1-3) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Parklji (2-2) with the biggest margin this round 69-55 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 14 points. Parklji forced 32 Konjice turnovers. Strangely Konjice outrebounded Parklji 38-22 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Konjice was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of point guard Nejc Kobal (186-91) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists and guard Matic Urbas (192-93) who added 11 points, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Parklji players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Tomaz Jereb (192-91) responded with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and center Crt Lipovsek (194-88) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Parklji moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Konjice lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with three games lost.
