The game between sixth ranked Leotar (4-3) and 10th ranked Varda HE (2-5) in Trebinje on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Leotar outscored guests from Varda 76-47. Leotar dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Varda HE's 30. They outrebounded Varda HE 45-26 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Serbian forward Nikola Djurasovic (198-83) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Dejan Sakotic (194-93) contributed with 10 points and 4 assists for the winners. Serbian guard Nenad Tomasevic (192-84, agency: PEPI SPORT) answered with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian center Djordje Dzeletovic (205-93, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Varda HE. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leotar moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sloboda Tuzla and Kakanj. Loser Varda HE dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. Leotar will face league's leader Spars Sarajevo on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Varda HE will play against Kakanj (#5) and hope to win that game.
