Very predictable result when sixth ranked Galatasaray (4-2) won against 14th ranked TED Kolejliler (1-5) in Istanbul 75-65 on Saturday. TED Kolejliler was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was a good game for American forward Caleb Green (203-85, college: ORU) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian forward Vladimir Micov (201-85, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Galatasaray's coach Ergin Ataman used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. American guard Kalin Lucas (185-89, college: Michigan St.) replied with 21 points and Georgian forward Viktor Sanikidze (203-86) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for TED Kolejliler. Galatasaray moved-up to third place, which they share with Besiktas. TED Kolejliler lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with five games lost.
