Regular Season Round 4: Plama Pur - Hrastnik 57-56

The most exciting game of round 4 in the 2SKL took place in Ilirska Bistrica. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Hrastnik (2-2) to second ranked Plama Pur (3-1) 57-56 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hrastnik. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 19-6 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Plama Pur dominated on the defensive end, holding Hrastnik to just 6 points in third quarter. They also forced 21 Hrastnik turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Anze Srebovt (196-91) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 7 rebounds and guard Tilen Zalar (189-87) who added 7 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Gasper Ovnik (190-82) responded with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Anze Macek (188-91) scored 17 points. Plama Pur have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 3-1 record behind leader Triglav, which they share with Terme Olimia and Branik. Hrastnik at the other side keeps the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Plama Pur is looking forward to face Grosuplje (#8) in Grosuplje in the next round where they are favorite. Hrastnik will play at home against Slovan and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
