Undefeated leader GDESSA delivered the seventh consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 11th ranked AD Vagos (1-6) 71-47 in Barreiro. They outrebounded AD Vagos 39-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. Marcia Costa fired 16 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American forward Kamilah Jackson (180-92, college: Hawaii) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Daniela Domingues (176-92) produced 15 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center Ana Teixeira (185-79) added 11 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
