Regular Season Round 4: Halychyna - Dnipro 67-76

Date: November 15, 2015
The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Halychyna (2-1) in Lviv on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Dnipro (4-0) 76-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Halychyna. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-67. It was a great shooting night for Dnipro especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (202-89, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 6 rebounds and international Olexandr Mishula (192-92) who added 13 points and 6 assists during the contest. Dnipro's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international center Volodymyr Gurtovyy (207-75) responded with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Illya Shemosiuk (188-85) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Five Dnipro and four Halychyna players scored in double figures. Dnipro have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Halychyna at the other side keeps the second place with one game lost. They share the position with BK Kremen and Kharkiv. Dnipro will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Halychyna will play against Kharkiv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
