No shocking result in a game in Gaziantep where tenth ranked Bursa BSB (2-4) outleveled bottom-ranked Bakospor (0-6) 112-45 on Saturday. Bursa BSB dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Bakospor's 24. Bursa BSB forced 30 Bakospor turnovers and outrebounded them 48-24 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Bakospor's players. Gulay Gul (-93) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and Zeynep Sahin (-97) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Bursa BSB players scored in double figures. Bursa BSB's coach felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Dilara Hazal Kara (-95) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and Melek Kileci (-95) scored 10 points. Bursa BSB moved-up to eighth place in Group B, which they share with Alanya Bld and Urla BLD. Newly promoted Bakospor still closes the standings with six games lost. Bursa BSB will face Urla BLD (#10) in Izmir in the next round. Bakospor will play at home against Alanya Bld and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
