There was no surprise when 8th ranked Urla BLD (2-4) was outplayed on the road by sixth ranked TED Ankara (4-2) 77-47 on Sunday. TED Ankara held Urla BLD to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Urla BLD 53-33 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Urla BLD was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international center Melike Yalcinkaya (189-93) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Derin Yaya (174-97) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest.
