Regular Season Round 8: Frankivsk - LDUFK-Skif 85-67

An interesting game for Frankivsk (3-1) which hosted in Ivano-Frankivsk one of their biggest challengers LDUFK-Skif (1-2). Second ranked Frankivsk had an easy win 85-67. The game was mostly controlled by Frankivsk. LDUFK-Skif managed to win fourth quarter 27-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Frankivsk shot 68.1 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Frankivsk especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. The winners were led by international forward Darya Zavidna (185-93) who scored that evening 21 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Larysa Stadnik (178-92) supported her with 21 points. Even 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) by Anzhelika Zvolyak did not help to save the game for LDUFK-Skif. point guard Kateryna Gryshchenko (165-98) added 17 points for the guests. Frankivsk maintains second position in League with 3-1 record having 2 victories less than leader Dynamo-NPU. Loser LDUFK-Skif keeps the third place with two games lost. Frankivsk will meet league's leader Suzirja in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. LDUFK-Skif will play against the league's leader Suzirja in Rivne and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
