Bottom-ranked VolinBasket (0-7) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to second ranked SC Kryvbas (6-2) 82-50 on Sunday evening. The game without a history. SC Kryvbas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 38 of its points in the paint compared to VolinBasket's 18 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. SC Kryvbas forced 20 VolinBasket turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. International swingman Dmytro Gliebov (198-88, agency: Beo Basket) fired 17 points for the winners. Dmitriy Lypovtsev chipped in 8 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Denys Koshovets produced 10 points and the former international forward Viktor Gerasymchuk (200-81) added 9 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SC Kryvbas have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted SC Kryvbas maintains second place with 6-2 record behind leader Khimik. VolinBasket at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with seven games lost.
