Regular Season Round 14: Furstenfeld - Gussing 82-84

The most exciting game of round 14 in the A Bundesliga took place in Furstenfeld. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of second-ranked Furstenfeld Panthers (9-5) to first ranked Gussing Knights (13-1) 84-82 in the game for the first place. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 23-16 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Croatian Marko Car (188-85) produced 31 points and 8 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and Slovenian forward Dejan Cigoja (205-88) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Defending champion maintains first position with 13-1 record. Furstenfeld Panthers at the other side keep the second place with five games lost. Gussing Knights are looking forward to face Arkadia Lions (#4) in Traiskirchen in the next round. Furstenfeld Panthers will play on the road against Kapfenberg Bulls and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
