An interesting game was also surprising home defeat of 5th ranked Neptunas in a game in Klaipeda versus Siauliai (#8) 83-74. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-74. Siauliai made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Siauliai outrebounded Neptunas 37-20 including 24 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by the former international swingman Arturas Jomantas (200-85) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American power forward Dave Dudzinski (206-92, college: Holy Cross, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) supported him with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Even 14 points and 7 rebounds by American power forward Jerai Grant (203-89, college: Clemson) did not help to save the game for Neptunas. His fellow American import Daniel Ewing (191-83, college: Duke) added 14 points and 4 assists. Four Neptunas players scored in double figures. Neptunas' coach Dainius Adomaitis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Siauliai (5-7) moved-up to seventh place. Loser Neptunas keeps the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Nevezis. Siauliai will meet at home higher ranked Nevezis (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Neptunas will have a break next round.
