Very predictable result when second ranked Speyer / Schifferstadt (7-3) beat on the road 8th ranked Weiterstadt (4-6) 61-51 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Speyer / Schifferstadt. Weiterstadt was better in third quarter 19-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Speyer / Schifferstadt won last quarter 20-11. Canadian forward Kathryn Verboom (179-86) fired 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
