No shocking result in a game when second ranked Mazeikiai (14-4) beat 10th ranked Nafta-Uni. (7-10) in Klaipeda 74-63 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Mazeikiai. Nafta-Uni. was better in second period 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Mazeikiai forced 19 Nafta-Uni. turnovers. Nafta-Uni. was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Evaldas Saulys (195-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Guard Sarunas Vingelis (192-89) contributed with 14 points for the winners.
